Pay: $125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Location: Wichita, Kansas | Primarily On-Site with FlexibilityWe offer a collaborative office environment with flexibility to help our attorneys maintain a healthy work-life balance. New team members are expected to spend most of their time in the office as they become established.

Note: Candidates must have 2+ years of civil litigation experience and an active Kansas law license. We welcome attorneys with additional experience who are interested in growing their litigation careers.

Job Description

• Manage and assist with civil litigation matters involving commercial disputes, insurance defense, healthcare negligence defense, products liability, and related areas.
\n
• Handle discovery, draft pleadings and motions, conduct legal research, and develop effective litigation strategies.
\n
• Participate in depositions, mediations, court hearings, and trial preparation.
\n
• Work closely with experienced litigators while taking increasing ownership of cases and client matters.
\n
• Deliver thoughtful, practical legal solutions while building strong professional relationships.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
\n
• Active Kansas Bar admission.
\n
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
\n
• Familiarity with discovery, motions, depositions, and courtroom proceedings, or a strong interest in developing these skills.
\n
• Experience in commercial litigation, insurance defense, or healthcare negligence defense is especially welcome.
\n
• Eligibility for admission in Missouri is desirable.
\n
• A collaborative, motivated, and proactive approach to practicing law.
\n
