Job Description:

As an essential part of our operation, youll help turn trash into treasure, contributing directly to environmental sustainability and the recycling efforts of our community. Location: Atlanta, GA 30318
Pay Rate: 17.00 Hr.
Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (may vary between 9 to 12 hrs.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting recyclable materials from residential, commercial, and industrial locations.
• Sort, load, and transport recyclable waste, ensuring proper disposal according to company procedures.
• Work alongside the driver to ensure timely and safe collection of recycling materials.
• Operate lifting devices to load recycling and refuse into trucks.
• Ensure all materials are sorted appropriately per company standards.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of recycling equipment.
• Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling and disposing of recyclable materials.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to address questions or concerns.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in waste management, recycling, or similar labor-intensive role preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures.
• Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
